Russ was raised in Lafayette Indiana, he graduated from McCutcheon high school in 1981.  Russ attended Ball State University and graduated in 1984.  Campus ministry came calling next for Russ when he moved to Lincoln Nebraska for an internship. He went back to Ball State where he led the Chi Alpha campus ministry for 6 years, then back to Lincoln Nebraska where he led the campus group for 3 years.  Russ became an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God in 1991.  After this, he and his family moved back to Lafayette where enrolled in the Computer Graphics program at Purdue University.  After graduating from Purdue in 1997, he worked as a Web Developer for several companies then finally settled back at Purdue where he was the Web Developer for Continuing Education and Conferences, Information Technology from 1999 to 2009, and Purdue Extension – Health and Human Sciences from 2009 to 2018. He is currently serving as the Web Developer for the Office of the Provost.  

Russ’ love for technology coupled with his desire to help people makes his skill set for your small business a perfect match.

Russ enjoys exercise of all kinds, and he can be found on a typical day at the Co-Rec on campus or at his local YMCA.  He has ran over 20 half marathons and 6 full marathons but feels his marathon days are behind him due to bad knees. Russ is also active in his local church Eastside Assembly of God where he helps with the sound and audio visual ministry.

Russ is married to his wife Jes and has two children, Rachel (31) and Jared (28).
